Our wide range of Cable Security Seals

TruSeal Cable Security Seals consist of a steel cable fixed at one end into the locking mechanism of the seal body. Each cable seal is designed to discourage opportunistic stealing, to show evidence of tampering, and to prevent contamination or trafficking of smuggled goods. Of course the correct security protocols and procedures are vital in the effectiveness of security seals, as evidenced by research. These protocols include procedures for obtaining seals, fitting, inspection, storage, removal, disposal, training staff, recordkeeping, reporting, and interpretation of findings.

The TruSeal Cable Seals range is considered “high-security.” Our range of cables seals are constructed of NPC stainless steel, an extrusion of zinc, and coated with ABS plastic.

Our cable seals include the STS045 Cable Seal which is a high-security sealing solution with a large print area to accommodate large barcodes including 14-digit 2 of 5 interleaved for use in cash-in-transit, cash boxes, and sea & air freight containers. Another of our TruSeal Cable Seals is the STS031 Twist-tight Seal, which has an ultrasonically welded cap for added security and can be used in various applications such as laboratories and used to seal pre-paid electricity meters and casino gaming tables.

TruSeal Cable Seals are single-use seals, which make them more secure. To open the seal, a pair of special rope shears are required to cut through the unique steel cable.
